Description of the Milky Whey LR liquid ring sanitary pumps

Self-priming liquid ring impeller sanitary pumps made from die-pressed stainless steel aisi 316 with capacities up to 55m3 per hour and heads up to 35m sold either as wet end alone; pump and motor; pump and motor with motor cover (shroud) and tripod; pump and motor with motor cover (shroud) and stainless steel trolley mount.
The pump is particularly suitable for high flow liquid transfer. A version with petrol driven engine is available.

The Milky Whey LR pumps are designed and manufactured to offer maximum hygiene and to avoid risk of contamination of the liquid pumped. They feature :
*Self-priming to 4 meters after initial priming.
*Careful internal and external polishing to ensure maximum hygiene, elimination of residues and deposits, and enhanced resistance to corrosion.
*Easy and rapid opening without tools for complete inspection and maintenance.
*Availability of stainless steel motor covers (shrouds), tripods, and trolleys.
*Inlets and outlets male threaded to DIN standards 1181, or with gas threads or with flanges.
*Motors with IP55 protection suitable for continuous duty.
*Entirely in aisi 316 die-pressed stainless steel.
*Sanitary alumina (aluminium oxide) mechanical rotative seals with EPDM rubbers
*Temperature -10 degrees C to +100 degrees centigrade
*Maximum system pressure 3.5 bar.

Applications

Milky Whey LR pumps can be used for clean non-aggressive liquids (including alimentary liquids). The pump will pass small solids in suspension, such as, as, for instance, liquids for calf feeding and similar. For denser liquids the 1400 rpm version of the pump should be used.

Do NOT use Milky Whey LR pumps for:

Liquids which are generally aggressive and dangerous to health and to persons animals and things in general, such by way of example as acids, solvents, naphtalene, chloric acid, hydrochloric acid in any concentration, hydrofluoric acid, muriatic acid, sulphuric acid, sulphur chloride, hydrobormic acid, silver chloride, molten antimony and aluminium, ammonia, sulphur chloride.

Milky Whey LR pumps must not be used with inflammable liquids or in environments where there is risk of explosion.
