Short summary
SOLAR AND DC PUMPS:
Solar Spring horizontal axis piston submersible solar pumps.
Small 200W nominal solar submersible pumping system.
Large 40mm (1.58") diameter pistons sliding over a very short stroke inside the pump body bear all the work load.
Piston gasket rings serve to separate water in the valve chamber from non-toxic oil in the pump body, and are not subjected to wear and tear.
All parts operate within natural materials stress levels up to a head of 150m (500ft).
Sub-system efficiency energy in to water out of up to 60%.
This is to be considered the world's most advanced solar pumping technology.
HANDPUMPS:
Village Life spring rebound inertia or water oscillation hand pumps for rural water supply in developing countries.
Probably the only original development to have come out of the International Drinking Water and Sanitation Decade 1981-1990 declared by the United Nations.
This is to be considered the world's most advanced handpumping technology.
