Description of the Transferer self-priming liquid ring impeller pumps
Self-priming liquid ring impeller pumps made from die-pressed stainless steel aisi 304 or aisi 316 with capacities up to 45m3 per hour and heads up to 25m sold either as pump and motor or pump and motor and trolley mount.
The pump is particularly suitable for high flow liquid transfer.
The pumps can be fitted with a check valve to stop the feed pipe from emptying.
The Transferer pumps feature :
*Long duration due to low attrition levels.
*Self-priming to 4 meters after initial priming.
*Careful internal and external polishing to ensure elimination of residues and deposits and enhanced resistance to corrosion.
*Availability of trolley mounts.
*Inlets and outlets gas male threaded 2" in diameter or with flanges.
*Monoblock coupling.
*Enclosed externally ventilated motors 4 to 7.5HP with IP55 protection suitable for continuous duty.
*ADPE (Explosion proof) motors available
*Entirely in aisi 304 or aisi 316 die-pressed stainless steel.
*Rotative type mechanical seals with Buna, Viton(R), or Teflon(R) rings.
*Temperature -10 degrees C to +100 degrees centigrade
*Maximum system pressure 5 bar.
Applications
Transferer pumps can be used for medium volume transfer of clean liquids (including alimentary liquids). The pump will pass small solids in suspension.
Liquid transfer of acids and solvents compatible with the type of stainLess steel and the type of seal used.
Liquid transfer of inflammable liquids compatible with the materials used and subject to the use of explosion-proof motors.
Alimentary liquids not being liquids requiring strictly sanitary pumps. For sanitary self-priming liquid rings pumps please refer to Milky Whey LR sanitary pumps.
Further, in the light chemicals, textiles, and water depuration sectors.
Do NOT use Transferer pumps for:
Liquids which are generally aggressive and dangerous to health and to persons animals and things in general, such by way of example as chloric acid, hydrochloric acid in any concentration, hydrofluoric acid, muriatic acid, sulphuric acid, sulphur chloride, hydrobormic acid, silver chloride, molten antimony and aluminium, ammonia, sulphur chloride.
Transferer pumps must not be used with inflammable liquids or in environments where there is risk of explosion unless an explosion-proof motor is used.
Transferer pumps must not be used for liquids with a temperature over 100 degrees C.
