General information

District Bhoodhan Gramadhan Development Sangh (DBGDS) is a non governmental, non profit making community based organization based in the Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu, in India.It was formed in 1987 and registered with the government of Tamil Nadu in 1987 (register number 78/87).

The overall goal was work "for the benefit of the Dalit women in the Dindigul District. Our organization is the result of the committed depressed women who organize among themselves their own emancipation."

Presence in the Sanarpatty area:

DBGDS is fully recognized and accepted in the area it serves. The community is supportive at large, in terms of finances, material and human resources. Its programs are participatory and hence involve many people.

The organization enjoys a high membership (??) and the Board of Management members cut along all professional lines(??) social, cultural, processional religious and geographical.

DBDGS's main office is located in Kambiliyampatty, which is the most central settlement point of the Sanarpatty Block project area. This is a (description of offices and facilities)
